The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.

The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

The course cost includes an eBook that will be emailed to the student prior to the course starting, once payment has been recieved. Should you prefer a hardcopy book, please notate that on your registraion.

 

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in all AHA courses and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the AHA. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the AHA.

 

The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

THIS COURSE IS FOR ESCAMBIA COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEE'S ONLY!

 

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams. The course reflects science and education from the 2020 American Heart Association Guidelines for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

This course is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.

 

Completing the Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work is required before the ACLS Course date. 

You must print the Precourse Self-Assessment Exam and the Certificate of Completion of the Precourse Work. These will be collected at the beginning of the course. If you cannot print, you can email a copy to hrharvell@myescambia.com.

THIS COURSE IS FOR ESCAMBIA COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY EMPLOYEE'S ONLY!

 

The PALS Provider Course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts.

 

Completing the Precourse Self-Assessment and Precourse Work is required before the PALS Course date. 

You must print the Precourse Self-Assessment Exam and the Certificate of Completion of the Precourse Work. These will be collected at the beginning of the course. If you cannot print, you can email a copy to hrharvell@myescambia.com.
